In 2011, the County will be sending a unit of over fifty Scouts from across the County to the 22nd World Scout Jamboree in Sweden. This section of our website will hopefully provide you with some information as to what we're up to, where we're heading and lots of other little bits of important information.
Dates
Training weekends for the Unit will take place over the following weekends:
- 26 – 28 February 2010 (camping)
- 2 – 4 July 2010 (camping)
- 24 – 26 September 2010 (camping)
- 28 – 30 January 2011 (Bowley Lodge)
- 8 – 10 July 2011 (camping)
- Leave either 24 / 25 July 2011
- Reunion — St Anne's, 7 – 9 October 2011
The venues and exact timings for each event will be confirmed nearer the time. Further dates can be found on the Jamboree calendar.
The Joint Counties Unit will share some of the weekends. Check your emails for more information on the Joint Counties Unit meetings.
